Welcome, I'm glad you're here!

I’m KK, my nickname is Fluff because of my hair *hair flip hair flip*. I’ve been an athlete my whole life. I grew up playing soccer and running track up through high school. When I was 14 I tore my ACL and joined the swim team for a year because I couldn’t play soccer. I went to college in Boston, I went to MIT and earned my bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering. It was in college where I figured out that daily movement is a necessity in my life. 


I hadn’t paid much attention to workouts before because I was just playing sports. But in college I started working out on my own for the first time and would go on long runs for study breaks and it would just calm me down so I could get back to my studies with a clear mind. Movement kept me centered. Senior year I started lifting weights and figured out that lifting brought me just as much joy as running did but I never stopped running. 


Years later I still move daily. I run 3-4 times a week, lift 3-4 times a week, and do yoga 2-3 times a week. In 2017 I became a certified personal trainer through NASM. I started working as a personal trainer in 2018. I love hearing my clients stories and helping them on their fitness journeys. With each client it always starts out as something physical; I want to lose fat, I want to gain muscle, I’m going on vacation and need to fit into this dress, etc. But with time I love connecting with my clients on a deeper level. Through movement I aim to help people find the same stress relief and joy in life as I do. The physical goals will come, but the joy of movement and feeling of accomplishment from being able to do something you couldn’t do a month ago is what will keep you going. 


Through programs, YouTube workouts, and 1-on-1 training I’m here to help you find joy in movement and reach a deeper understanding and connection with your amazing body.
